Do I see damp pavement in the background... this could be amazing!

It was a decent race. I won’t give any spoilers but yes it is a damp race with rain tires.

I watched, it was disappointing to see Lorenzo lose pace as no one wants to see Rossi to be given anything.

Haha yea I don’t think Rossi needs anything to be given to him. I was pretty surprised the front tire fell off so quickly too. Once Dani got in the groove and Lorenzo’s front tire was gone, Dani pulled over 8.5 seconds in the last SEVEN laps! All while Jorge had a 3.5 sec gap to Rossi up to that point. At least his visor didn’t fog up this time!

I was wondering if Andrea wasn’t pressuring Rossi would he have had more tire at the end of the race? Was he expecting Lorenzo to come back his way... Either way its a better championship most if not all others.

I'm really hoping Rossi wins the championship this year. He needs it after the feud with Joege a couple years ago, then his abhorrent stint with Ducati.

Me too, and I kinda want him to call it quits then. The stats are not in his favor in terms of hours riding/scary accident.
But i’m a jealous fanboi who was brought to motogp by Rossi’s charisma and racecraft, something which was sorely lacking from the f1 championship at the time when my interest was first sparked.

I would think he would retire pretty soon. Especially if he wins another championship. I think he wants to get one more under his belt before quitting. With his 37th birthday coming up in February, the odds are definitely stacked against him.
Who isn’t jealous of Rossi? :)
